Lisa Otero Sullivan
I enjoy working with those who are interested in self-growth, as well as improving the overall quality of the relationships in their lives. I take great pleasure in being a source of support, non-judgmental guidance and practical information, as I assist my clients in reaching their personal goals. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, wife and mother of two teenage boys, I have experience with and an appreciation for the myriad of challenges couples and families face in today’s world. You name it, I’ve seen it. I can help.
For several years, I have worked closely with a diverse population of families facing complex issues, including marital conflict, aging parents, ADHD, adolescent behavioral problems, eating disorders, trauma, psychosis, violence, sexual abuse and GLBT issues. I am trained to treat the individual or entire family for a more holistic perspective.
Currently, I enjoy the privilege of working with U.S. soldiers in a group setting at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. I have experience treating Combat PTSD and offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy. And to show my gratitude to our troops for their service, I am happy to offer a military discount. Contact me for more information.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I am passionate about helping others empower themselves and embrace a greater sense of well-being. I love the gratification I get when a client tells me something I said helped to make difference in their life. I enjoy using my training and experience to “pay it forward” helping to make the world a better place, one person at a time. Quite simply, I absolutely love assisting others in helping themselves.
